Pirooz was a foundational and cornerstone film professor in my college experience. His knowledge of the trade, industry, and teaching all come together to encourage a very creative friendly and unique environment. Pirooz always goes above & beyond to educate and empower his students. He cultivates camaraderie in his classrooms and externally. I think combining Pirooz’s background as a varied artist, a life in the industry(s), with the worldly background & experience of the formalities of the education / university system have made for a unique experience that will encourage, motivate, and empower many more pupils to come! Most importantly: I always felt like Pirooz was a professor with deep passion.
